Human Resources Specialist (6 months contract)

Role Purpose

The HR Specialist will report to the Senior HR Manager, Operations and the wider HR team to provide operational support across all aspects of the Human Resources portfolio and employee lifecycle.


Key tasks and responsibilities

The key areas of responsibility for the HR Specialist are to:

  • Provide administrative support for all elements of HR; recruitment, employment contracts, employee confirmation, reporting, performance management, exit interviews
  • Process WP, SPass and EP applications
  • First point of contact for employees for feedback and questions
  • Liaise with new joiners and conduct onboarding sessions
  • Undertake analysis and reporting on a monthly basis from our HR Information System (ProSoft)
  • Observe operations and suggest new activities, policies, and procedures
  • Support the recruitment team with candidate phone screening when and where necessary
  • Provide support for recruitment activities, career fairs, and recruitment centers

Qualifications needed

  • The candidate should have at least a diploma in HR, Accounting, Finance or any other related subject.  A bachelor degree is an advantage, but not a must
  • At least 3 years of experience HR Administration or support
  • Experience working within Human Resources within a Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Logistics environment would be advantageous.
  • Will have knowledge of legal compliance with Employment Act of Singapore
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Fully competent in MS Office, with strong knowledge and use of Excel
  • Prosoft experience advantageous
