RedMart is seeking a dynamic and motivated manager to help the Marketplace (and overall Commercial) team to scope, plan and implement new projects while liaising with all stakeholders especially from Operations and Finance teams as well as suppliers. The candidate will design the strategy together with all stakeholders, elaborate guidelines and implement all standard operating procedures to pave the ground for the rapid expansion of the Marketplace business unit.

You’ll be working closely with teams across the board and live up to the value of putting customers always first.


Core Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketplace team in the liaising with Operations and Finance teams.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting Marketplace operations and finance flows performance
  • Support the Head of Operations and the Head of Finance in setting up processes and champion the implementation
  • Develop an effective and efficient strategic plan to coordinate with support services (Acquisition, Category Management, Finance, Customer Service and IT)
  • Drive independent projects to support the Commercial team
  • Develop initiatives that drive long-term Marketplace and Seller operational excellence
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and a willingness to be vocally self-critical
  • Demonstrate effective consulting skills, with an ability to influence in all directions and at all levels
  • Exhibit superior communication skills including interpersonal communication and written communication

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence others.
  • 4+ years of successful operations and finance experience, preferably in the eCommerce and retail technology.
  • A proven track record of personal, academic, and professional achievements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Experience using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions.
  • Execution oriented and hands on approach.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to manipulate data.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Operational Management or other related areas required
  • Relevant prior working experience, ideally in a logistics or e-commerce field preferred
